God Bless Paul Krugman

What's with the footdragging on implementing universal health care in the U.S.? That this is still even an issue, and that only Paul Krugman is regularly beating the drum in the NY times, is dismaying. Okay, listen up people. This is the United States of America. The single most powerful nation in the history of history. Why we should not have 100% coverage, when Cuba freaking has it, is not only an international disgrace--it is an example of vast special interest greed (of our beloved medical establishment, big pharma, and "friendly" insurance companies) and our societal obtuseness at its worst.
