16th District Townhall Meeting: A Success?
The first annual 16th District Townhall meeting seemed to be quite the success. It was well attended with a near capacity crowd. The presentation involved commentary by the outgoing commander, discussion of the vast police department reorg, and introduction of the new commander, Anthony Riccio. Several local aldermen and pols were there, although notably absent was Alderman Banks. (Surprise.) There was a presentation of the new publicly accessible crime statistics web site, ClearMap. Afterwards, questions were taken from the audience.
